M. Jean Boyd

M. Jean Boyd Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Covenant Cooper. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late Henry and Irma (Andrews) Zissler was born November 27, 1925 in Saginaw. She married Harold "Bucky" L. Boyd in May of 1954. He passed away April 20, 2010. She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post #439 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed working in her garden, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and spending time with her family. Surviving are a daughter, two sons and their spouses, Terry and Sandra Boyd, Traverse City, MI; Cheryl and David Jarzabkowski; Michael H. Boyd, all of Saginaw, MI; four grandchildren, Corinne and Riley Boyd; Joshua and Tyler Jarzabkowski; several nieces and nephews. One sister, three brothers, Henrietta, Fred, Melvin and Sanford Zissler, have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Douglas Kahl will officiate with entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Chapel from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday.
