Madison Paige Hasse, age 15, of St. Charles, Michigan, gained her wings in the loving arms of her parents and surrounded by family on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Maddy was born on November 9, 2001, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Joseph and Stacy (Frollo) Hasse. Although Maddy only spent 15 short years here on Earth, she touched so many lives with all the love and joy that she shared with others. Maddy would light up a room with her smile. She was so full of life. Maddy loved spending time with her cousins and friends, she loved swimming, riding her golf cart hours on end, and boating, especially at a faster speed and hitting all the waves. Maddy also loved to be cuddled, tickled, and hanging out with her dog, Bogey. Maddy, you were a one of a kind child. It was an honor and a blessing to call you our daughter. You have taught us so much in your short 15 years that we will never forget. "Porkchop, Sissy, Princess," you were our life, you are our life, and we thank the Lord every day for giving us such an amazing and strong little girl like you. Well, Daughter, you fought the fight and you won. As they say, "Your work on earth is done." Spread your wings, sweet girl, and fly, fly high and dance on those streets of heaven. Maddy, you are missed and loved so much. Maddy leaves behind her parents, Joe and Stacy Hasse; a sister, Amber Hasse; grandparents, Greg (Noreen) Frollo, Debbie (Dale Davis) Rohde; aunts and uncles, David (Mary) Hasse, Heather (Jimmy) Pugh, Michelle (Matt) Oliver; cousins, Kirsten, AJ, Ashlyn, Cayden, Colson, Nashton, Brinley and Cameron. Maddy also leaves behind great-grandparents, great-aunts and great-uncles, along with many dear friends. Maddy is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Hasse, Jr., grandparents, David and Harriett Hasse, and other great-grandparents. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, where her family will receive friends from 2:00 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and then on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
