Margaret Helen Williams

Passed away on July 7, 2018 at the age of 98 years. She was born to the late Henry and Sophia (Moskal) Giltrop on October 21, 1919. She married Howard R. Williams on June 7, 1940; he predeceased her on December 28, 2012. They were married 72 years. Margaret worked for 20 years at Kresges in Saginaw. They liked to spend winters in Arizona. Margaret is survived by one son and one daughter and their spouses: Howard (Shirley) Williams, Sally (Patrick) Carpenter, seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, her sisters Lorraine Psuik and JoAnn Popp, her brother Joseph Giltrop and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at SS Francis and Clare Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 12157 Church St., Birch Run, MI. Fr. Thomas McNamara will officiate with burial at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
