Leaman, Margaret Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday October 6, 2013 at home at the age of 92 years. Margaret was born January 6, 1921 in Saginaw the daughter of the late Herbert and Catherine (Benham) Vasold. Margaret married Melvin Leaman in Napoleon, Ohio on July 18, 1939 he predeceased her November 6, 1998. She was a member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church and was active on many boards. She was a custom seamstress, she was a founding member of the Chatter Chic's that was founded in 1951 and was still active this year. Surviving are her six children and their spouses, James and Marlene Leaman, Linden; Catherine and Douglas Eads, Coleman; Janet Leaman, Saginaw; Jeffrey and Trina Leaman, Bentley; Daniel and Pam Leaman, Merrill; Gary Leaman, Saginaw; eight grandchildren; 7 great-grandsons; one sister-in-law Jean Leaman, several nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth Vasold and Raymond Vasold. Memorial service will take place 12:00 noon Saturday October 12, 2013 at Michigan Avenue Baptist Church 203 S. Michigan Rev. Laura Lee Strawser will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Saturday 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service.
