Margaret “Maggie” Jane Schuetz
Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother and Oma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, with her family at her side; at the age of 63 years.
The daughter of the late Kenneth Eugene Wilder and Jimmie Lou (Grambel) Wilder (Samuel Francis Dolson), Maggie was born on September 23, 1958 in Savannah, Georgia. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the class of 1975. Maggie married Earnest James Schuetz on August 30, 1975 at First Baptist Church. In the following November, they were both baptized at First Baptist Church. Earnest preceded her in death on October 6, 2007. Maggie continued her education at Delta College, graduating known as one of the Delta Wonder Grads, earning her Registered Nursing Degree. She was a registered nurse at Health Source – White Pine Psychiatric Unit for over 20 years of loyal and dedicated service. Maggie was a youth advisor at Fraternal Order of Eagles #3963, Bridgeport, Michigan. She loved crocheting, sewing, and animals. Above all, the delight of her life was spending time with her family. Her family will fondly remember Maggie for her heart of gold, and how her face lit up each time she saw her grandbabies. Everyone loved Maggie, her caring loving ways and her sense of humor.
Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Frances “Frannie” (Matthew) Metevia, Katie Dolson, Ruth Schuetz; grandchildren: William (Cherokee) Schuetz, Joshua Schuetz, Athena Schuetz (Kevin), Gabrella Schuetz (Jesse), Lucas Schuetz, Gavyn Metevia, Braedyn Metevia, A’lena Dolson, Breanna Anderson, Steven Anderson; three very dear grandchildren: Tiffany Flores, Taylor Ely, Shilee Hayes; four great grandchildren with one on the way; and her fur babies. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her husband and her parents; Maggie was preceded in death by her brother: James M. Wilder.

Funeral Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Rev. Scott Cowling will officiate. A Celebration of Life will take place from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Old James Township Hall, 7045 Swan Creek Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until the time of service at the funeral chapel on Sunday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family, in c/o Frances Schuetz.
