Marguerite "Margo" Walny

Passed away peacefully on December 24, 2019 at St. Francis Home at the age of 93. Marguerite was born on June 21, 1926 in Mancieulles, France to the late tiene and Marie Teresa (Rubiolo) De Costanzi. She married her husband Anthony Walny on November 13, 1945 in Trappes, France. She arrived to the United States on the SS Brazil on April 2, 1946 in New York. Anthony preceded her in death January 15, 1989. Marguerite was a stay at home mother for years. After caring for her children she became a seamstress at Graber Manufacturing where she had retired. She was a member of St. Georges for over 30 years. Marguerite enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing, shopping, and camping. Ultimately she loved her french vanilla lattes and spending time with her beloved family. She is survived by her two children Claudette (Rocky) Rumpel and Gerald (Susan) Walny, her grandchildren Kelly (Amber) Rumpel, Kourtney (Jim) Garno, Melanie Walny, Melissa Walny, a great grandchild Jessica (Casey) George, and one great-great-grandchild, Josiah George. She is also survived by a sister Josette De Costanzi. She was preceded in death by her brothers Michel and Serge De Costanzi. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
