Marian A. Davy

Davy, Marian A. Saginaw, Michigan Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the age of 90 years. The daughter of the late Adam and Finis (Wells) Hausman was born on March 5, 1925 in Saginaw. She graduated from Saginaw High School, the class of 1943. She married James F. Davy on September 12, 1946; he survives her. Marian was an active member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, times spent at Houghton Lake and in Florida, but most especially cherished time with her family and friends. Surviving besides her husband of 68 years, James are their children: James A. (Rosalie) Davy, Julie A. (Greg) Louks, grandchildren: Lisa L. (Starling) Ervin, Robert L. Bush, Amanda J. (Michael) Thomson, great-grandchildren: Dorian Quivers, Michael, Jalen, Isabella, Starling III Ervin, James, Christopher Thomson, her sisters-in-law: JoAnn Hausman, Mable (Galen) Grandy, Alice Andrews, Kate Slansik and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Don Hausman, and a sister Gini Fairchild. The family would like to thank the special caregivers at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Center for the loving care they gave Marian. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. James A. Smith will officiate with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
