Marian C. Bird

Bird, Marian C. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Saturday, November 01, 2014 at the age of 95 years. The daughter of the late Arthur and Clara (Fehrman) Heindel was born on January 24, 1919 in Detroit. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School. She married Lewis Bird on September 16, 1944; he predeceased her. She had been employed at Reichle Supply Company, Professional Management, Washington Avenue United Presbyterian Church, and St. Matthew Episcopal Church. She was a member of Countryside Trinity Church and UCT #43. Marian enjoyed bingo, word search puzzles and spending time with her family. Surviving are her children: Doug (Pam) Bird, Marianne C. Bird, grandchildren: Tammy (Bob) Weisbarth, Melanie (Don) Bryce, Justin Bird, MacKenzie Bird, great-grandchildren: Nichole Weisbarth, Drew Weisbarth, Madison Bryce, Gage Bryce and several dear relatives and friends and Marian's faithful dog, Ginger. She was predeceased by a son, Richard (Cheri) Bird, brother, Robert (Jean) Heindel, and a sister Beatrice (George) Robinson. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor David Boillat will officiate with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
