Marian L. Luta

Marian L. Luta Bridgeport, Michigan Passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, age 94 years. Marian was born on July 5, 1923, daughter of the late William and Eva (Beebe) Werth, in Ashley, MI. She married Frank P, Luta on July 24, 1948. He predeceased her on December 31, 1977. Marian was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. She retired from Michigan Bell after 28 years of service. Marian enjoyed raising her five daughters, knitting, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, bird watching and reading. She will be missed by her children, Michele (Alan) Muchlinski, Lucinda (Robert) Keller and Jacquelyn Luta; grandchildren, Erik (Dawn) Manning, Kevin Manning, David Muchlinski, Ben and Jack Keller; her great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Ramona) Werth; many nieces and nephews; her sons-in-law, Thomas Manning and James Fisk. She was predeceased by her daughters, Kathleen Manning and Patricia Fisk, and her brothers, Bennett Werth Jr. and Frederick "Fritz" Werth. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at St. Francis de Sales Parish, St. Christopher Church, 3945 Williamson Road. Fr. John Mancini O.S.F.S. will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
