Marie Elena Stellwag

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the age of 75 years.

Marie was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorene Watt. She was born March 6, 1947 in Pinckney, Michigan. She graduated from Birch Run High School, Class of 1965. Marie was a long running member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed bird watching, cards, board games, casino trips, and spending time with her friends and family, but especially her beloved dogs, Daisy and Laddie. She could always be found at home watching a movie from Turner Classic movies or at Bob's Bar having a drink and playing Keno.

Surviving her are her children: William L Stellwag, Jr. (Francene), Tina M. Stellwag (Mark), grandchild, Zachary T. Stellwag, step-grandchildren, Terin Bolt, Randall Montero and many adopted grandchildren. Marie was preceded by her sisters Lee and Sharon, and step-grandchild, Callen Montero.

Honoring Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to donate to your local animal shelters in remembrance of her massive love of animals.
