Marilyn passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the age of 89 years. She was born on May 29, 1931 to the late Harold and Elizabeth (Latty/ Walters) Williams in Saginaw. Marilyn attended Saginaw High School. She married Russell Jurek on October 14, 1950 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Saginaw. They shared 53 years together before Russell passed away on June 5, 2002.
Marilyn retired from the Saginaw American Club where she was a manager for 23 years. She was a member of the Merry Wives Club and served as their Historian for many years. Marilyn helped crochet caps and sack dresses for children in third world countries and quilts for Veterans. She also loved to read and crochet.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Deborah (Richard) Rogers, Theresa Cazabat, Christopher Jurek, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister in laws Connie (Don) Fortier and Beverly Williams.
She was predeceased by her sons: Russell Jurek Jr., Mark Jurek and Timothy Jurek. Also predeceasing her is her grandson Arthur Jurek.
