Marilyn Kay Murdock (Nasset)
Marilyn Kay Nasset of Saginaw County, MI passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2022, with family by her side.
Marilyn, was born in Grand Rapids, MI on June 27th, 1951. She is the daughter of Kenneth E. and Doris F. Nasset. Marilyn’s greatest joy was spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids at their home in Saginaw County. Marilyn was a successful entrepreneur who developed businesses most of her life and one of her main passions was real estate development.
She is survived by her devoted husband Daniel Lee Murdock of 51 years and her 2 children David Murdock (Christina Murdock) Brant, MI and Stephanie Handy (Mark Handy) of St. Louis, MI. She has 6 grandchildren: Alysha Shaw (Murdock), Nicholas Murdock, Katie Surdock, Jesse Moore, Kennedy Handy and Keagan Handy, 3 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way.
Marilyn was deeply loved by those who knew her best and leaves behind 7 brothers and sisters: Bud (Lori) Nasset, Doris (Richard - deceased) Brockless, Barbara (Mark) Cantrell, Kenneth (Rosie) Nasset, Alice Nasset, Janet (Michael - deceased) Gilbert, Karen (Roy) Trumble and countless nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, Michigan 48637. Burial will follow at Brant Township Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral chapel on Saturday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to The Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
