Marilyn Kay Roethlisberger

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away October 3, 2021, at Symphony Tri-Cities Nursing Home. Age 75 years.
The daughter of the late Karl and Madalyn (Fischer) Bauknecht, Marilyn was born January 15, 1946, in Saginaw. She was a 1964 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Marilyn married Gary Roethlisberger on June 8, 1968. Together they had one daughter. Marilyn was a very caring and loving mother. She was a quiet, gentle woman who enjoyed knitting and sewing. She especially loved making quilts.
Surviving are her husband Gary, daughter Lori (Richard) Bourdow of Frankenmuth, grandson Dylan Rosa of Bridgeport, great-granddaughter Mackenzie Rosa of Saginaw, brother Tom (Connie) Bauknecht of Saginaw, brother and sister-in-law Rick and Gail Roethlisberger, as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother Jerry Bauknecht and her parents-in-law John and Mildred Roethlisberger.
Marilyn's family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Symphony Tri-Cities Nursing Home and McLaren Hospice for their wonderful care and kindness given to Marilyn.
Funeral service will take place at 2 pm on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate Private burial will take place in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 3 pm - 7 pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the funeral home as well as from 1 pm until the time of service on Thursday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider McLaren Hospice.
