Marilyn M. Tappen

Tappen, Marilyn M. Carrollton, Michigan Passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 with her family by her side at the age of 76 years. She was born May 8, 1938, in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Ervin and Martha (Bielert) Rausch. Marilyn married Lawrence Tappen, Sr. on September 9, 1972, he survives her. She enjoyed collecting dolls and spending time with her family. Marilyn loved traveling the world with her husband and especially to Belgium for waffles. She was known by her family as "Marilyn Run" because she was always on the go. Surviving besides her husband are their children, Kay Moore, Ervin Glen, Marsha (Louis) Lopez, Gerald (Carla) Rausch, Mark (Tammy) Tappen, Lawrence (Carol) Tappen, Jr., James (Nancy) Tappen, Patricia (Ervin) Rausch, George (Corina) Tappen, Robert (Sherry) Tappen and Susan (Larry) Rolka; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and her brother, Ervin (Patricia) Rausch. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Ford Sharon, III and her daughter, Martha Ann (Jim) Poineau. Funeral service will take place 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at W. L. Case and Company 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate with cremation to follow.
