Marjorie Combs

Marjorie P. Combs Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday May 26, 2019 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab, at the age 94 years. Marjorie was born April 4, 1925 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Bower) Bindon. She married John Combs January 3, 1947, he survives her. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed making arts and crafts, making afghans for family and friends, and loved traveling with her husband John. She was a huge Detroit Tiger fan, and was a Girl Scout leader for several years. Surviving besides her husband John are their children; Janet (Jerry) Cline, Dave (Sue) Combs, Margie (Al) Doty and John Combs; ten grandchildren; Amy (Lance) Harvey, Andrew (Krista) Hagarty, Kelly (Lance) Sedwick, Heather (Jason) Vernon, Bethany (Marc) Warezak, Bretton Combs, Carissa (Jon) Bauer, Angela (Ashraff) Harahsheh, Paul (Alexis) Doty, and John Combs III; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother Jack (Gwen) Bindon; and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by two sisters Julia and Shirley, a grandson David Doty, and a son-in-law John Hagarty. The family would like to thank the staff at Saginaw Senior and Rehab Center for the wonderful care they gave Marjorie. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday May 30, 2019 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev Paul Hinz will officiate with Entombment to follow in Roselawn Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and then on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
