Mark William Stephen

Mark William Stephen of Bridgeport, Michigan Beloved husband and father passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 2, 2019, at his home. He was 56 years old. Mark William Stephen was born on December 2, 1962, in Woodland, California to William "Gail" and Martha Ellen (Shields) Stephen. He proudly served his country by enlisting into the United States Army, serving from 1981 to 1985 until his honorable discharge. He married the love of his life, Lisa Ann Greanya on May 30, 1989 in Clio, Michigan; she survives him. Mark was employed as a truck driver with Waste Management and Swift Transportation until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time in his flower garden as well as landscaping his home. Anyone that knew Mark knew that his soul embodied music. He was a musical genius and played multiple instruments. Music was not just a passion; it was fulfilling and he used it as outlet for his creative energy. Above all, Mark loved and cherished his family. He will forever be remembered for his kind and caring spirit. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Lisa Ann Stephen of Bridgeport; daughter, Kelsey (Matthew) Tompkins of Perry; father, William "Gail" (Janet) Stephen of St. Helen; mother, Martha Ellen Stephen of West Sacramento, CA; two sisters, Connie Stephen; Vicki (Rocky) Roberts of Burton; brother, Rick (Lori) Gray of St. Helen; beloved Shih Tzu, Stanley "Mister". Honoring Marks wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
