Marlene Ann Figueroa Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Covenant-Harrison. Age 82 years. The daughter of the late Gertrude (Erber) and Reinhold Schmidt was born June 22, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Francisco Figueroa in 1973. He passed away in 2000. She enjoyed cooking, baking and most of all her family. Surviving are three daughters, a step-daughter and their husbands, Nancy and Thomas Heritier; Kay Williams; Melanie and James Davis; Lucy and Alvin Walk, all of Saginaw, MI; two grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Lisa Heritier; Tracy and Stephen Walker; a great grandson, Christian Walker; two step grandchildren, Ashley and Hayden Hughes; a brother and two sisters-in-law, James and Betty Schmidt; Donna Schmidt; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Herbert Schmidt has predeceased her. Cremation has taken place. A private family remembrance will be held.
