Gotham, Marlene E. (Carbeno) Saginaw, MI Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to be with her heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the age of 75. Marlene was born December 15, 1939, in Saginaw to the late Leonard and Olga (Hoffman) Carbeno. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she was in the choir and helped with Braille. She enjoyed making Halloween costumes and dressing up. She loved spending time with her family, camping, going to rummage sales and Country Fests, and being a member of the Red Hats. Her love for life will be reflected in each of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Scully, Thomas (Kathy) Gotham, Michelle (Jeff) O'Deay, Patricia (Steve) Bosley, Julie (Greg) Bardoni; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Terri) Carbeno; brother-in-law, Jerry Goodman; and sisters-in-law, Irene Wicke and Annabelle Cook. She was predeceased by her siblings, Melvin (Shirley) Carbeno, Gerald Carbeno, Lorraine Mendyk, Shirley Goodman, Dorothy Strickland; and a loving friend Mike Migut. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Hospice Advantage for their loving and compassionate care. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 808 Weiss in Saginaw. Rev. Michael Korte will officiate with burial to follow in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
