Marvin J. Bottke

Bottke, Marvin J. Saginaw Township Passed away Monday April 20, 2015 at Covenant-Cooper. Age 97 years. Marvin was born April 19, 1918 in Saginaw, the son of the late Charles F. and Emma L. (Harvey) Bottke. He married Doris Mae McLaughlin, June 26, 1948. She survives him. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII and was a member of American Legion Post #439. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a former member of the Germania Club. Surviving besides his wife, Doris, are two daughters, Dianne M. Baker; Debra J. (Randall) Wheatley; four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marion, two brothers, Carl and Harvey, and a son-in-law, Bob Baker. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Michael Hahn will officiate with Military burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of American Legion Post #439. Friends may call at the Chapel from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
