Marvin M. Minto

Minto Marvin Merrill, Michigan Passed away Monday January 19, 2015 at Covenant-Cooper at the age of 72 years. Marvin was born May 29, 1942 in Merrill. The son of the late Donald B. and Irene L. (McNier) Minto. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Saginaw Steering Gear following 37 years of service. He was a Volunteer fireman for the Jonesfield Township Fire Department for 34 years. He married Tuddy Ducham May 3, 1969 she survives him. Marvin was a life member of the Hemlock-Merrill VFW Post #7302. Surviving besides his wife Tuddy are their children: Jim Minto, Brian (April) Minto and Patrick (Dawn) Minto: seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: one brother James Minto: and several nieces and nephews. Marvin was predeceased by one brother and sister-in-law Vern Minto and Cheryl Minto. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Richard Jolliff will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of the Hemlock, Merrill VFW Post #7302.
