Mary A. Santino

Santino, Mary A Merrill, Michigan Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016. Age 78 years. Mary was born September 18, 1938 in Merrill Michigan. The daughter of the late Edward and Alma (Fleming) Jacobs. Mary married Ralph Santino on October 26, 1963. He survives her. She was lifelong member of St. John XXIII parish, Sacred Heart Church. Mary had worked for Dow Chemical Company and then the City of Saginaw prior to becoming a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an exceptional homemaker and cook. Surviving besides her husband Ralph is their daughter, Nicole (Robert) Gagne; grandchildren; Kristen (Keith) Williams, Kaitlyn Gagne and Rob Gagne; great-grandchildren; Eric Williams and Cole Williams; two brothers Gene (Shirley) Jacobs and Tom (Janice) Jacobs. Mary was predeceased by infant brother Francis Jacobs. Funeral liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday October 21, 2016 at St. John XXIII Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 419 S. Midland Rd. Merrill, Michigan Rev. Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 125 E. Saginaw, St. Merrill on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
