Brinkman, Mary Ann Saginaw, MI Passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 following a brief illness at the age of 77 years. The daughter of the late Lester and Verna (Wenzel) Fournier was born on April 17, 1936 in Saginaw. She graduated from Saginaw High School the class of 1954. She married George Brinkman, Jr. on November 19, 1955; he predeceased her on September 29, 1986. MaryAnn retired from Bell Telephone Systems in 1991. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock. MaryAnn enjoyed traveling, camping, crafting, crocheting, animals and family pets, and most especially loved spending time with her family and friends, particularly watching her grandchildren's sporting events. Surviving are her children and their spouses: Sue (Charles) Popp, Cathy (Tom) Graham, George (Trina) Brinkman III, grandchildren: Jessica and Jamie Popp, Kristen and Andrew Graham, Melissa and George IV Brinkman, her brother Lester (Marlene) Fournier and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline Duffett. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Rev. Richard E. Mundt will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. on Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
