Mary Christine Keane (Chris) Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Monday, April 18, 2016, at Covenant Cooper. Age 64 years. The daughter of the late William J. and Marylyn (Greene) Robertson was born November 23, 1951 in Mineral Wells, Texas. She married Daniel G. Keane on February 6, 1971. He survives her. Chis attended Michigan Technological University, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University and her Master of Science in geriatric nursing from Michigan State University. She specialized in Geriatric Nursing, practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. She was employed by Hoyt Nursing Home for 15 years and served as its Director of Nursing for 12 years. Currently she served as Associate Director of the AGES Program with CMU Health System. She was a member and Board member of the Michigan Chapter of NADONA. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening, most of all, her passion was her grandchildren and their activities. Surviving besides her husband, Dan, are three daughters and their husbands, Heather Christine and Michael Graham; Karen Marie Hayner; Laura Kathleen and Gabriel Faubert; 9 grandchildren, Connor, Van, Ethan, Olivia, Darby, Lydia, Caden, Becky and Tommy; two brothers, two sisters and their spouses, Bill and Vickie Robertson; Nancy and Bob Raymond; Patricia Gallant; John and Beth Robertson; many nieces and nephews. Two nephews, Brad Robertson and Alec Raymond have predeceased her. In accordance with Chris' wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016, at St. John XXIII, Parish, St. Mary in Hemlock Church. Rev. Dennis J. Kucharczyk will officiate. Mrs. Keane's family will receive visitors at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Saginaw from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral liturgy.
