Mary E. Burmeister

Mary E. Burmeister, age 92, of Midland Michigan, passed away at Marshall Manor on November 14, 2015, of complications following a stroke. Mary was born in Lockland, Ohio on November 15, 1922. She was the sixth of seven children born of Joseph and Agnes (Zelenka) Safranek. She married the love of her life, Leslie, on February 14, 1942 living and working in the Saginaw area all their married life. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leslie, in March 1977 and her oldest son, Dale in May 2008. She is survived by her son, Kenneth, and daughter-in-law Carol of Fishers, Indiana, daughter-in-law, Toni, Seattle, Washington, five grandchildren, Heidi, Christine, Joseph, Jeremy, Jesse and six great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Home 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Michigan on Thursday, November 19 at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Pastor Gib Giblin will officiate with burial immediately following at St. Andrews Cemetery, 381 St. Andrews Rd., Saginaw, Michigan.
