Mary Elizabeth (House) (Hutfilz) Bos

Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the age of 82 years. The daughter of the late John and Ada (Murphy) Hutfilz was born on September 15, 1935 in Hemlock. She married Howard A. House on September 17, 1955; he predeceased her on June 3, 1982. She later married Alvin Bos in 1984; he also predeceased her on August 19, 2013. Mary was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed painting and most especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. Surviving are her daughter, Dr. Lori House, grandchildren: Courtney (Joe), Brandon, Morgan and Eric, a great-grandson, Logan, great-granddaughter Allison, her brother Bernard (Julayne) Hutfilz, sister June Howell and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son, David, and her brothers Kenneth, Robert and an infant brother. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Rd. Rev. Paul Hauser will officiate with burial at Richland Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. and on Tuesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
