Mary Frances McKay Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016, at her home. Age 72 years. The daughter of the late Grace M. (Cole) and Herman F. Price was born October 13, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Holy Rosary High School, Class of 1962. She married Raymond J. McKay, August 4, 1962. He survives her. She was employed by Great Lakes Bank Corp/TCF Bank for 20 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and St. Matthew Catholic Church where she served on the Church council and as a Catechist. She volunteered with the CAN Council and served on its Allocation Committee. She enjoyed oil painting, winning several ribbons for her work. She liked to bake, especially apple pies, and shopping with her grandchildren. She volunteered as a baby cuddler with Covenant. Mary Frances enjoyed traveling with friends and family. She had visited Africa, Spain, and many trips to her favorite destination, Puerto Vallarta Mexico. She spent any free time at her grandchildren's sporting events, concerts, plays and fixing everyone's problems. She always had the answer. Surviving besides her husband, Raymond, are seven children and their spouses, Michael McKay, Saginaw, MI; Matthew and Lori McKay, Davision, MI; Mark and Judy McKay, Lakeview, MI; Scott McKay, Saginaw, MI; Stuart and Jodi McKay, Saginaw, MI; Steven McKay, Bay City, MI; Christine and Stephen Schwerin, Saginaw, MI; her grandchildren, Amanda McKay, Candace McKay, Nicole McKay, Thomas McKay; Megan Brooks and her wife, Lindsay; Brent McKay; Tracy Renn and her husband, John; Mitchel McKay; Jacob McKay, Channing McKay, Benjamin McKay, Hannah McKay, Harrison McKay, Madeleine McKay, Jaiden McKay, Kegan Schwerin, Samantha Schwerin and Bailey Schwerin; her great grandchildren, Khloe, Klayton, Jayston, Jordan, John, Braydon, Hope, Hayley, McKenzie, Madison, Jathan, Allayna, Joseph, Ozias, Leo, Penny and Remington; one brother, Michael Price; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Janet Gritter and two brothers, Pat and Fred Price have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Joe Miller will officiate. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
