Mary Jane Martin

Mary Jane passed away at Covenant Healthcare on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the age of 81. She was born on April 18, 1939 to the late Ralph and Mary Anna (Kelso) Wilson in Saginaw. Mary Jane graduated from Saginaw High in 1957 and later attended several years at Delta College. She married Leonard Martin on May 17, 1997 in Saginaw.

Mary Jane was a housekeeper for most of her working years and managed Absolute Business Maintenance. She has been a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church since 1980 where she has enjoyed being a part of Bible Study. Mary Jane was an avid gardener; she loved flowers, especially her tulips. Mary Jane also enjoyed listening to county music and playing the piano, she mostly enjoyed playing Christmas music.

Surviving her are her husband Leonard and her children; James (Dawn) Boshans, Michael Boshans, Barbara (Dan) LaCount, Dennis (Mona) Boshans; her step children; Leslie Martin, Daniel (Tina) Martin and Jeremy Martin; grandchildren; Beau Boshans, Katie (Dave) Estelle, Justin Boshans, Laura LaCount and her step grandson Devon Martin. Mary Jane is also survived by her great grandchildren Everly Estelle, Henry Estelle and baby Sylvie Lou who is on her way. Mary Jane’s siblings Barb Lagalo and Ralph “Tom” Wilson also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her brothers David and Joseph Wilson and her special brother in law Bob Lagalo.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m on Monday, July 6, 2020 at St. Mark Lutheran Church (2565 North Miller Road, Saginaw 48609). Pastor Mark Hill will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Monday at church.
