Mary Kathryn Neuhaus

Mary Kathryn "Mary Kay" Neuhaus Alma, Michigan formerly of Saginaw Our loving, sister, aunt, and friend went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the age of 71 years. Mary was born February 8, 1945, in Front Royal, Virginia to the late William and Mary (Rohde) Neuhaus. She was owner/operator of the Hair Care-A-Sel beauty shop which she opened in 1986, in Saginaw Township. She loved shopping, gardening, and perusing the arts. She had a very special love for all of her nieces, nephews, godchildren, and her pets. Spending time with her family and friends meant everything to her especially in most recent years. She is survived by her siblings, William (Barbara) Neuhaus, James (Elayne) Neuhaus, Joyce Dahlberg, Ann Neuhaus, and her devoted caregivers, David (Mary Ann) Neuhaus; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Neuhaus. The family would like to thank the staff of Masonic Pathways, where she was affectionately known as "The nun" or "Miss Mary", for the care they provided to her since 2010. Memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church at 1310 Malzahn. Burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to Masonic Pathways in Alma.
