Mary Lou Frakes

Mary Lou Frakes Merrill, Michigan Passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Age 83 years. Mary Lou was born on May 21, 1935, daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Passow) Nohel, in Saginaw. She retired from A & P Grocery after more than 30 years of service and was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local #876. She enjoyed BINGO, going to the casino, long road trips and spending time with her loving family. Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Charles Frakes, Sr.; her children, Connie Trudgen Alaniz, Kenny (Becky) Trudgen, all of Merrill, Charles (Heidi) Frakes, Jr. of Weidman and Karen Frakes of Merrill; her grandchildren, Melissa (Greg) Starke, Christina Alaniz, Jessica (Cody) Kienitz, Phillip (Amber) Alaniz Jr, Beth (Dan) Scoles, Bryan Trudgen, Tabitha Frakes, Bryant (Jenni) Frakes, Dakota Frakes and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Dale Trudgen. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 Noon, on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Merrill Congregational Church, 245 S. Merrill Rd. in Merrill. Rev. Richard Gossett will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at W. L. Case and Company, 125 E. Saginaw, in Merrill from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
