Mary Lou (Ochis-Hendershot) Gorsline Saginaw, Michigan Died Sunday, November 27, 2016, just one week before her seventy-fourth birthday. Mary Lou was born December 3, 1942. She was the mother of three sons, grandmother of six and grew up in St. Johns with four sisters and a brother. Mary Lou was beautiful, friendly and fun. She enjoyed baking cookies, gardening and being out in the sun. Whether it was playing games, going on trips or helping each other with home improvements Mary Lou loved to laugh with her sisters. They did everything together. She fell head over heels for her high school sweetheart, Clyde (Bill) Hendershot , and a date at Matthew's Soda Shop in St. Johns would lead to marriage, along with plenty of hunting, shooting and playing cards as a couple. They would build their dream house in the country where they raised their sons. Although they divorced, he remained the love of her life. Later, she would meet her second husband, Jim Gorsline and learn to love baseball, darts and going fishing. The birth of her first grandson, Drake Hendershot lit up her world she was so proud to be a grandmother and every grandchild who followed had a special place in her heart. Mary Lou always came to watch her grandchildren and loved to attend their sporting events. Gorsline was heartbroken at the death of her first grandson, Drake. She is also preceded in death by husbands Clyde Hendershot and Jim Gorsline, her mother, Mary Jane and dad, John, her brother, Butch Ochis Jr., sister, Joyce Knight, and niece, Melinda English.
