Mary M. Neiderquill (Fromm) Saginaw, Michigan Our grandmother and great-grandmother passed from our world Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the age of 97 years, almost making it to her 98th birthday. Mary Fromm was born on September 12, 1917 in Saginaw, the daughter of Alexander Sr. and Mollie (Sturtz) Fromm and has lived in the same neighborhood all her life. She married John Neiderquill on Nov. 30, 1935 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Saginaw. He passed away March 26, 1990 after 55 years of marriage. She was a retiree from Saginaw Steering Gear and also worked at Columbia Mills. She was a good cook, making many of the old German Russian foods taught by her mother and passed the love of those foods down to her family. She and her husband were charter members of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Saginaw. She is survived by 3 grandchildren: Gregory (Sue) Neiderquill, Jeffrey (Ann Marie) Neiderquill and Debra (James) Schoen, 3 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; a special nephew Gerald (Carol) Niederquell and many other nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Hilda Fromm Niederquell, a brother, Alex Fromm Jr., her only son, Kenneth J. Neiderquill, a grandson Gary A. Neiderquill and also her companion Bernie Dole. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at W. L. Case and Company, Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with entombment to follow at Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at the funeral chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to American Macular Degeneration Foundation or the Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan.
