Mary Margaret Sauve

Loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 68 years. Mary was born on July 8, 1952 to the late John and Anne (Lazar) Lazzaro in Saginaw. She attended Arthur Hill High School.

Mary worked at Covenant Healthcare for over 30 years, retiring in 2012. She also owned and operated her own cleaning business for over 20 years. Mary enjoyed gardening and shopping via QVC. She was the type of person who would do anything for anybody. Mary had a heart of gold; she was caring and always forgiving.

She is survived by her children Robert Sauve III and Ashley Sauve. She is also survived by her grandson Ayden, several nieces and nephews and her siblings: Theresa (Mike) Sauve, Dennis Lazzaro, Michael (Connie) Lazzaro, Dominic (Arlene) Lazzaro. Her longtime best friend Mary Greenleaf also survives her.

Mary was predeceased by her brothers Ken and John Lazzaro.

Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at W.L. Case and Company (201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw). Fr. Richard Jozwiak will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.

Mary’s family would like to extend a special thank you to her son Bobby whom cared for Mary for the last several years. Mary was very close with Bobby, he was dear to her heart.
