Mary Sue Machette

Passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Cartwright Care Center in Saginaw. The daughter of the late Lucy (Mamaw) Pritchett was born in Carrollton, Georgia, moving to Saginaw in 1951. Mary Sue graduated from Saginaw High School in 1956. She worked at Montgomery Ward and was a sales manager with the Tupperware Company for a time. She was also employed by Rays Food Fair and A & P Tea Company. Mary Sue married Gary Machette June 21, 1958 and he survives her. She is also survived by three loving children, her daughter, Tracy Ann Carter, Carrollton, MI; sons Scott (Lisa) Machette, Carrollton, MI, and Troy and Kimberly Machette, Stockbridge, MI; a granddaughter, Taylor, Machette; step-grandchildren, Tony, Chelsea, Kalie Broemer; two great step-grandchildren, Maddie and Mya; one niece, Pat Elmore; one nephew, Don Dice. Mary Sue was predeceased by her mother, Lucy Pritchett; her brother, Johnny Pritchett; her sisters, Marjorie Dice and Ann Wright. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. George Hernandez will officiate. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
