Maureen Rose Carlyon Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, February 15, 2014, at her home. Age 69 years. The daughter of the late Eugene David and Hazel (Herman) Miller was born October 20, 1944 in Tawas, Michigan. She married Robert M. Carlyon, August 21, 1965. He survives her. She was an active member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. A very outgoing person, she enjoyed her friends, playing cards and most of all her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband, Robert, are two daughters, a son and their spouses, Patricia and Stephen Gingras, Elk River, MN; Christine and Richard Meldrum, Addison Township, Michigan; Timothy Carlyon and his Fianc, Melissa, Ohio; four grandchildren, Katherine and Gabrielle Gingras; Annabelle and Robert Meldrum; two brothers and their wives, John and Marcine Miller; her twin brother, Michael and Nancy Mineau; her sister and her husband, Toni and James Gray; a brother-in-law, Donald Vanden Langenberg; several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Vanden Langenberg and Carol and Charles Nash have predeceased her. The funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn St. Saginaw. Rev. Steve Gavit will officiate. Friends may call at the W . L. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Monday where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then call on Tuesday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
