Maxine Helen Leddy
Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the age of 82 years.
The daughter of the late John M. and Linda H. (Wenzel) Rohn was born on July 4, 1941 in Merrill, MI. Along with her family, Maxine moved to Shields and became a life-long resident. She married Dale Frederick Leddy on June 10, 1961; he predeceased her on November 20, 2018 after 57 years of marriage. Together with Dale, she helped operate their business, Dale Leddy Electric. Maxine was an active member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, was active in their Ladies Aid Society and taught Sunday School. Maxine cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with them; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her three children and their spouses: Craig and Anne Leddy; Tammy and Ed Flattery; Todd and Rena Leddy; Randy Schulz who was like a son to her; four grandchildren, Tara DeLine and her husband, David; Blake Leddy and his wife Katrina; Kyle Flattery and his wife Kim and Reegan Flattery; seven great grandchildren, Liam, Vivian, Hazel and Eleanor DeLine, Sienna and Wren Leddy, and Nora Flattery; her sisters: Leona Zeitler and Nancy Moran and her husband Paul, her sisters-in-law: Sugar Leddy, June Leddy and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Maxine was predeceased by her siblings: Shirley Neuenfeldt and her husband Jim, Albert Rohn and his wife Thelma, Elvin Rohn and his wife Ruth, her brothers and sisters-in-law: Ralph Zeitler, Lawrence Leddy, Mike Leddy, Ed Leddy and his wife Alice, Tom Leddy and his wife Janet, Herb Leddy, Elsie Cardinal and her husband Bud and John Leddy and his wife Gerry.
The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, 8765 Ederer Rd., Saginaw, MI; Pastor Joshua Becker will officiate with private burial at Owen Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and then at the church Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Christ Ev.
