Megan Lynne Drumhiller

Our first-born child, Megan, came into our lives on April 17, 1990. Megan will always be our Munchkin. She was shy, but spunky around those she loved. She often leaned on her brothers to accompany her in new situations.

Megan loved Goofy and adored dressing up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She loved Fairy Winkles and other tiny toys she could hold in her hand. Other than her immediate family, her favorite people included her cousins, Madison, Morgan and Isadore, and her grandparents. She adored our dear family friend, Nicky Watts.

Dressing up was her favorite childhood activity, and she had a creative flair. Fairy wings were a part of every costume. She loved entertaining us with song and dance daily. Some of her most cherished memories were the numerous times we spent traveling with the Cannon family.

Megan had a flair for the dramatic and was dedicated to her fellow Bohaty dancers, whom she grew up with from age 3 to 18, traveling to regional and National competitions. She also enjoyed her time on Pom teams in Junior High and High School. She excelled in Creative Writing and was a wonderful artist.

Megan's laugh could light up any room. As a young adult she developed a passion for music and stardom and was fascinated with David Bowie. Megan attended several colleges, happier to be where her friends were.

She enjoyed working in fashion, apparel and fitness. Megan remained fiercely independent, but was very loyal to a small group of longtime friends. Megan's journey took her to Florida & Texas for several years, but she always came home to Michigan, where she was able to spend time with her close friend Pat. Our entire family was able to be together for 3 weeks this Christmas.

We will miss Megan's bold spirit. She was strong willed, brutally honest, and charismatic. Megan did things her own way, but did not leave the world in that manner. She may have been taken from us, but we will keep her spirt and our everlasting love for her alive for eternity.

Shine bright in Heaven dear Megs.

Surviving are her beloved parents, Tim and Lynette Drumhiller of St. Charles; three brothers: Logan (Celeste) Drumhiller currently of Charlotte, NC; Chase Drumhiller of St. Charles; and Blake Drumhiller of Chicago, IL; a treasured family pet, Esme; grandparents, Pete and Coral Black. Also surviving are many cherished cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Karen and Len Williams.

We will lift Megan up at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road with a reception to follow.
