Michael Earl Babion

Passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Covenant Health Care. Age 52 years. He was born November 2, 1963 in Owosso, Michigan. He was employed by Majestic Van for many years, a driver for Krueger Trucking, and by Aspen and Davey Tree Services. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wheeler. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the out-of-doors. Surviving are two sons, Michael T. Babion; Scott P. Babion; two grandchildren, Nathan and Scott; his parents, W. Michael and Ruth Babion; three sisters and their spouses, Tammy Yancer; Brenda and Dan Hillaker; Valarie and Rick Franzel; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Donna and Stan Girard; a brother, Brian Girard, and a brother-in-law, Jack Yancer. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 10020 E. Monroe St. Wheeler, Michigan. Rev. Larry Warsinski will officiate. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and then on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
