Michael F. Lynch of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 60 years. Michael was born on December 19, 1961 in Saginaw, the son of Pauline (Krueger) Lynch and the late Ralph Thomas Lynch. He was a 1980 graduate of Swan Valley High School. Following graduation, Michael attended Central Michigan University where he received his Degree in Information Systems, Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH, and Saginaw Valley State University where he received Master’s Degrees. Mike had an amazing career including, EDS, Atrium as the Vice President of IT, First American as Director of Performance, PETCO as Vice President of IT, and Insight Global as a government consultant to Leidos. Michael was a brilliant man and used his intellect to pursue and achieve many of his goals and accomplishment including: (MBA) Master’s in Business Administration, (CIO) Chief Information Officer, (CSSBB) Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, (CPM) Certified Project Manager, (PMP) Project Management Professional, and many more throughout his life. He enjoyed playing video games, watching sports, and was an avid basketball fan. Above all, Michael treasured and cherished his family. He left his indelible mark on this world by selflessly devoting his care and kindness to anyone in need and for his fierce and beautiful love he had for his family and all he loved.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter: Derek (Lauren) Lynch; Alyssa (David) Tennant; Sean-Patrick J. Lynch; two grandchildren with one on the way, Thomas A. Lynch and Graham M. Tennant; mother, Pauline (Krueger) Lynch; brother, Patrick (Lori) Lynch; sister, Terri (John) Lynch-Caris and the mother of his children, Melinda (Matzke) Lynch. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph T. Lynch; two uncles, Dale and Jim Krueger.
A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road. Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., where a parish Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
