Michael G. Esparza

Michael G. Esparza Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Covenant-Harrison. Age 62 years. The son of the late Amy G. (Garcia) and Ponciano Esparza was born January 26, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. He married Mary Wrona, September 6, 1985. She survives him. He retired from the City of Saginaw as a Firefighter with 22 years or service. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and playing musical instruments, especially the guitar. Surviving besides his wife, Mary, are three daughters, Amy Esparza; Jessica Esparza-Steele; Andrea Esparza; two granddaughters, Mckenzie Steele and Joslin Steele; three brothers and one sister, Daniel Esparza and his wife, Chris; Ponce Esparza and his wife, Tracie; Edward Esparza; Margo Esparza; several nieces and nephews; his special friend, Able Bernal. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018, at First Assembly of God, 4570 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Kurt Cullison will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and then on Thursday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
