Michael Montalvo, Sr., Saginaw, Michigan passed away suddenly, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the age of 58 years. Mike was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and retired from GM after 22 years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Mike is survived by his wife, Susie Montalvo, his daughter, Angie (Johnny) Aguilar, four loving grandchildren, Thalia Aguilar, Johnny Aguilar, Jr., Alivia Aguilar and Michael Montalvo II; two sisters, Paula Dasuqi and Christine (Jeff) Bittner, one brother, Gilbert (Maria) Montalvo; special nephews, Angelo and Omar Dasuqi, Nick and Tony Bittner; two close Godchildren, Deonicio DeLaCruz and Marcelo Olivarez, his special friends, Tony and Janie Olivarez and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Michael E. Montalvo, Jr. and his parents, Esequiel and Macaria Montalvo. The family extends special thanks to Covenant VNA and Covenant staff at Cooper 3rd Floor for all the help and support. Funeral liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 915 N. 6th. Fr. Frank Voris, O.F.M., Cap, will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., from 2:00 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 8:00 p.m. Sunday where a vigil service will take place at 7:00 p.m. They may then visit with the family at church from 9:00 a.m. Monday until the time of funeral service. www.casefuneralhome.com
