Beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Age 76 years.

The son of the late Glenn C. and Evelyn M. (Parsons) Unger, Michael was born on August 20, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill Technical High School with the Class of 1966. Michael married Bobbie J. Krawczak on May 20, 1978. They shared 41 years together. She preceded him in death on February 16, 2020. He was a furniture salesman for many years, starting off his career at Gately’s Furniture and retiring from Value City in 2009. Michael found solace in fishing. His favorite sports teams included the Detroit Tigers and Michigan Football. Michael played a significant role in the lives of his grandchildren, lovingly guiding them and attending their sports and extracurricular events, always showing up to cheer them on. A man of few words, he expressed his loved through his actions, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family and loved ones, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and beloved dog, Ziggy.

Surviving are his daughters and sons, Denna (Paul) Lambert, Dustin Unger (Crystal), Jason Unger, Nikki Unger; grandchildren, Kelsey (Justin) Mathis, Kendall Unger, Makenna Unger, Kortney and Christopher Lawens; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Lucas Mathis; brothers and sister, Glenn Unger, Tim (Sue) Unger, Dawn Krawczak.

Honoring Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to W. L.
