Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Age 60 years.
Miguel was born on February 3, 1960, son of the late Victoriana (Soto) and Fernando Gonzales, in Saginaw. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1978. Miguel married Delia Torres on August 25, 1979. She survives him. He had been employed by Short Horn Meat Market for many years and retired from Jacks Fruit Market. He attended Saginaw First Assembly, enjoyed bowling, playing baseball and listening to music. Miguel loved spending time with his family and watching football, rooting for his favorite teams, “THE” Ohio State and Notre Dame.
Surviving are his wife, Delia; their children, Christina, Monica and Miguel “Butchie” Jr. (Alison); grandchildren, Ezekiel, Antonio, Layla, Caleb and Gabriel; siblings, Herlinda (Jesse), Fernando Jr., Daniel, Rita, Andres and Richard; many nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends, including two special friends, Sal and Rey. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Eduardo Gonzales.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Saginaw First Assembly, 4570 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Kurt Cullison will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the church, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
