Mildred May Barko

Mildred May Barko (Reimer) Saginaw, Michigan Went to meet her Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the age of 88 years. She was born July 6, 1927 to the late Fred and Selma Reimer in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Francis J. Barko, June 21, 1947. He passed away December 21, 1971. Millie worked for Saginaw Farm Bureau Credit Union for over 40 years. She loved to bowl, dance, and play the organ and piano. Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen (Joe) Jurmanovich, Saginaw, MI; Patricia (Randy) Johnroe, Bay City, MI; 3 grandchildren, Joe Jurmanovich III; Benjamin Jurmanovich; Kelly (Mike) Boyd and 4 great grandchildren, Joey and Jacob Jurmanovich; Logan and Brinley Boyd; two brothers, Walter (Marlene) Reimer, of Standish, MI; Alvin (Marion) Reimer, Saginaw, MI; many nieces and nephews. Her very special friend and companion, Ted Reetz. Her sister Elsie predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss Rd. Saginaw, MI. Rev. Michael R. Korte will officiate with burial Monday at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday and then at the Church from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service.
