Minnie Borchers

Minnie Borchers Roscommon, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Hilltop Manor Healthcare Center. Age 89 years. The daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Maturen) Burdick was born October 14, 1926 in St. Charles, Michigan. She was a graduate of St. Charles High School, Class of 1944 and then was employed by Eaton Mfg. inspecting plane parts during WWII. She was united in marriage to Roy D. Borchers, June 19, 1946, in Saginaw. He predeceased her on May 19, 1992. She graduated from Murphy Beauty School in 1964 and worked as a beautician until retirement. She moved to her cottage at Higgins Lake in 2006. Surviving are her children, Thomas and Sharon Borchers; Roy Borchers Jr. (Don) and his wife, Lynne, all of Higgins Lake, MI; her daughter-in-law, Tami Koval, Saginaw, MI; her grandchildren and their spouses, Dodi and Kurt Loll; Jamie and Tina Borchers; Jill Borchers; Aaron Borchers; Gina Borchers; Jeff Borchers; Julee and Dustin Blackstock; Justin Green; her great grandchildren, Sydney and Griffin Loll; Walker and Mason Borchers; Meaghyn and Elouise Blackstock; her brother, John Burdick; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, John Borchers, and her brothers, Dominic and Joseph Burdick. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Pastor Adam Seelow will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Chapel from 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, until the time of the funeral service.
