Mitchell was born on November 18, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Jack and Jeanne (Belill) Temple, and passed away on September 30, 2024, in his hometown after a lingering illness. He was a fun-loving caring individual, who cherished his family and was considered a friend to all. Mitchell's passions included watching all sports, with a particular love for the Detroit teams. 

He is survived by his son, Mitchell Temple Jr., the mother of his child, Jennifer Schabel Temple, his sisters, Kimberly Alfano and Kelly (Victor) Theisen, his sister-in-law Mindy Temple, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, Michael Temple, his brother, Brett Temple, and his grandparents, Ed and Dorothy Temple, and Leo and Angelus Belill. Mitchell will be remembered for his infectious spirit and profound love for those around him.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mitchell’s life is to take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the W. L.
