Muril Seabrook

Seabrook, Muril Austin, Texas (formerly of Saginaw, Michigan) Muril Seaborook passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She was born March 26, 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan and lived in Saginaw for 86 years before moving to Austin, Texas in 2008. She married Delbert Seabrook on November 27, 1943 who preceded her in death 1988. Muril was a fun loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Roderick Gilchrist; a grand-daughter, Jodi Raffaele and a great grandson, Alec Raffaele, all of Austin, Texas. She worked as a medical assistant in Saginaw for over 30 years. She was a member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church, and a former president and chaplain of the VFW auxiliary post 9809. She also volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at W.L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, Mi. Rev. Laura Lee Strawser will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the chapel Monday from 3:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
