Nada Soddt

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 01, 2018 at HealthSource of Saginaw at the age of 85 years. The daughter of the late Abdel Rezet and Lila (Mahlib) Abounassif was born on February 10, 1933 in Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. She married Omar Soddt on August 2, 1973 in Lebanon and they moved to Saginaw, Michigan. She worked as a seamstress, sewing dresses, taking care of alterations and was excellent at knitting and crocheting. Surviving are a nephew, Abdel Azeem (Dalal) Abounassif, nieces, Monia (Sobhy) Fayad, Lila (Saad) Mouallem all of Canada and many nieces, nephews and relatives in Lebanon. She is also survived by her step-daughter-in-law Joanne Soddt of Holt, MI, and her step-grandsons: Howard, Karim and Victor Soddt. Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Imam Safwan Eid will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
