Nancy A. Curtiss

Curtiss, Nancy A. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at Tendercare, Gaylord, age 77 years. Nancy was born in Elmira, New York September 14, 1935 the daughter of the late Edgar and Dorothy (Carleton) Cole. She married Paul Curtiss July 16, 1955. He predeceased her August 9, 2001. Nancy was an avid reader and enjoyed needlepoint and painting. She was a supporter of the Saginaw Community Youth Band. She worked as a secretary for several years. Nancy was a former member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She was a strong supporter of her son, Michael's, career as a music teacher and musician. Her husband Paul was a very devoted husband and he, Nancy and their son, Michael shared a very strong family bond throughout her life. Nancy is survived by her son, Michael (Madeline) Curtiss; three granddaughters, Melissa, Miranda (Lance) Kotrch and Mariah; five siblings, Dot Ryan, Madeline DeChant, Margaret Locklin, Ed. Cole and Mary Cole; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four siblings, Robert Cole, Walter Cole, Joseph Cole and Jim Cole. A committal service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Chapel. Rev. Kathy Snedeker will officiate.
