Giacoletti, Nancy J. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 16, 2016. Nancy passed away at home with her family by her side at the age of 81 years. Nancy Janet Craven was born March 13, 1935, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Rhea (Watson) and LaVern Craven. She graduated from Hemlock High School with the Class of 1953 and later received her R.N. degree from the Saginaw General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse at Saginaw General Hospital (now Covenant) in the Neonatal Unit for many years. She also worked in the Psychiatric Unit and did Home Health Care. She married James "Jim" Giacoletti, who predeceased her in 2014 after 57 years of marriage. They enjoyed traveling the world, and Nancy especially loved time spent with Jim in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She was a member of Community Baptist Church and some summers served as the nurse at Camp CoBeAc. She enjoyed reading and painting. Family was everything to Nancy. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Michelle (Steve) Runion, of Georgia; Brenda Mey, of Washington D.C.; Timothy (Karen) Giacoletti, of Arizona; and Ann (Paul) LaLonde, of Saginaw; her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart are Aundrea, Amanda, Tony, Kris, Gavin, Kyle, Alysha, Danielle, Nick and Joshua, along with fifteen beloved great-grandchildren; her brother and sister, Ronald (Camielle) Craven and Donna Craven Sollner; many nieces, nephews and their families. Nancy was predeceased by her daughter, Dr. Tina Giacoletti-Baker. The celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service. Rev. Dr. Douglas Jackson will officiate.
