Nancy Jean Wise (Muehlenbeck)

Our Loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Age 90 years.

Nancy was born on June 23, 1931, daughter of the late Evelyn (Konsdorf) and Ernest Muehlenbeck, in Saginaw. She married Leland Wise on June 25, 1949. He predeceased her on May 5, 2011. Nancy was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church before becoming a parishioner at St. John’s Evangelical Church. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, flower gardening and visiting Old Orchard Park. Nancy loved her family, spending time with them and cooking for family gatherings.

Nancy will be missed by her children, Timothy (Nita) Wise, Marsha (Bill) Slumka and Patricia (Jim) Darby; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; her brothers, William Muehlenbeck and Gary (Sally) Muehlebeck; many other relatives and her special friends at South Colony Apartments. She was predeceased by her daughters, Janice Dorian and Marjorie Tapia; her grandchildren, LeeAnn Tapia, Jeffrey Dorian, Timothy Wise, Jr. and sister-in-law, Sally Muehlenbeck.

The family would like to express their appreciation to her very special granddaughter, Lori Cortez, for her tremendous love and care throughout the years.
